Rapala buff headwear

Author: josh

Carl introduced me to Buff headwear a few years ago and I wore one of their 'headsocks' for the first time this year at Fraser Island and could see why the boys liked them so much. They're a pretty handy bit of clobber on the kayak, not to mention the campsite. Ergo, I wasn't terribly surprised to see that Rapala have introduced their own range of Buff headwear.

Although not yet listed on the Rapala website, there is a bunch of new and functionally fishing-ready clothing listed in their latest print catalogue and it looks very much to me like a lot of it would suit kayak fishing scenarios really very well. By 'functionally fishing-ready' I mean that it's not the heavily logo branded 'hey, look I'm an angler!' street-wear type apparel that you normally see from fishing tackle companies, but rather high quality gear made to protect and keep the user comfortable when fishing. As far as I'm concerned, thats a huge step in the right direction.
