Yakattack Dogbone

Author: josh

While discussing camera mounting options with a customer the other day he kept mentioning the word 'Dogbone' and throughout most of that conversation, I had no idea what he was talking about. When he finally described the device I thought 'that makes sense' and when he went on to tell me that Yakattack are the guys behind it I though 'that makes even more sense'. These guys have been coming up with some great fishing accessory mounting gear and the Dogbone is no exception.

What is the Dogbone? I'll let the designers description say it all:

Do more with your YakAttack or RAM accessories with the Dog Bone. In simple terms, it's a floating extension arm for RAM components. Combined with the rest of the YakAttack rigging platform, it's a powerful tool that opens up a lot of options for positioning gear, particularly getting great camera angles. Use the Dog Bone in conjunction with the PanFish Portrait, GearTrac, Mighty Mount, and Screwball and discover for yourself the endless possibilities.

binks-marine-hobie-sail-furler-kitI've never quite figured out why Hobie don't make a furling kit for their drop-in sailkits but it's nice to know someone is out there making them, because furling systems beat the hell out of trying to wind up a sail by...
