The Milkcrate

Author: JayPenfold

Moseying around the interwebs, I stumbled upon a "Kayak fishing lifestyle magazine" site from the states called "The Milkcrate". I know I started out with a milk crate on the back of my first ride, not that I'd ever use one again, but felt a sense of misty nostalgia just seeing it, as a busker might too. I have to say, the very description had me wanting more. After all, it's more a way of life for many of us, so a "lifestyle" site suits me to a T. My first encounter with this smart little outfit was a well written piece on Ed Halm of Backwater Paddle Company fame (those nifty little hand/hook paddle things). (Santa, please listen?) There are some great articles on featured anglers and a ton of other stuff. Well worth the time to have a little sneak around. There a some sweet interviews with some good quaility anglers. One common question in each interview is "What's in your milk crate?" as a way of asking, "So, whatchya got on board that yak?" Have a look.

They also have a Facebook presence, so like 'em if you like 'em!
