More information has come through on the upcoming Hobie-hosted Island event, the Hobie Island Big Day Out. To help the weekend run smoother for all involved, Hobie have introduced a registration process that is mandatory for participants. So if you plan on coming along, be sure to register first. Here's the lowdown:

Hobie Cat Australasia and it's Hobie Dealers would like to invite you to the inaugural Hobie Island Day Out to be held on the pristine waters of Jervis Bay* from the 11th to 12th of February 2012. The Hobie Island Day Out will be a chance to get together with other Hobie Adventure Island and Tandem Island owners and have a sail and a play on a range of other Hobie products. 

Activities planned include a sail on Jervis Bay on the Saturday afternoon, dinner at The Huskisson on Saturday evening, breakfast at the Vincentia Sailing Club on Sunday morning and more sailing. For catering purposes and logistic, registration is required.  

*Subject to wind and sea conditions. An alternative location will be nearby St. Georges Basin.
