nitro-ultralightspin

Just after I arrived home from a nice session on the water this afternoon, a big brown cardboard box arrived with my new spin sticks in it. A 6'6” Innovator Nitro 1-2kg Ultrabream Finesse and a 6'6” Innovator Nitro 3-5kg Voodoo. Made possible little help from my new sponsor Nitro Rods. I have chosen the Ultrabream Finesse for its short butt section, ultralight action and grunt down low. It is a featherweight rod built to last. The voodoo on the other hand is perfect for trolling and casting hardbodies, poppers and larger plastics for Jew, Jacks and Trevalley. I anticipate some snapper fishing over winter too. Light enough action for imparting life to plastics but enough stopping power to turn the head of a rampaging estuary GT. My first opportunity to blood them will be next week on a much anticipated trip to Agnes Waters/1770 where I hope to put a serious bend in them.
