Bill 'Billybob' Watson sent me a quick message to let me know he's been playing around with a Zego Sports Boat and obviously pretty impressed, is planning to spend some time filming some off-shore sports fishing antics, no doubt targeting Spanish mackerel knowing Billybob like we do. Normally I wouldn't take much notice of powerboat truth be told, but that Bill was speaking so highly of it drew my curiosity. And wow - that looks like a really cleverly designed and highly capable sports boat, perfect as a fishing or diving platform. Quite a few things impressed me about the Zego, not least of which it's ability to be ridden straight into and onto the beach from surf, almost like a hovercraft, and almost as cool. This is surf landing in style.   

Powerboats aren't really my cup of tea to be honest but if I was going to own one, it would probably be one of these. Bill has written up a review of sorts at his Fishing Noosa website
