Snap, I used Selleys Allclear. Before using it place the tube in hotish water to make the Allclear runnier, this will help to stop air bubbles which can ruin your sounder results.

Yep, off to Maloneys Beach down the bay with Stinkfinger, leave 0600h on the water by 0800h. Last weekend there was a bit of treble straightening, I hope Mr Viper is up for it. (Really need Godzilla tho)

Wifes birthday Sun so thought I'd better do the right thing................. and only fish local..........ummmmm on second thought no, better not.

Right, the hull is done and back together, today the amas.

Jmc1, the lambs wool buffer seems to just take the dullness off the top of the polyethylene, it may melt slightly, but, in saying that you would think it would stick to the buffer, and as yet that hasn't happened. I did yesterday have some trouble with the some of the Yakass logo stickers, but, I fixed them up and only gave them a light buff which worked out ok.

As for theft, Crazy Horse is in a locked and alarmed man cave, on a locked trailer, with locked tie down straps. On a trip the trailer is permanently locked onto the truck with the locked tie down straps, and is RARELY out of my sight. At night in a camp situation I set up early warning devices on the trailer before I hit the farter and I'm a very light sleeper. There is also a pick handle conveniently within reach.

It was cold yesterday 13 deg, and I noticed it was taking longer to get the desired result, so after a bit of a break and a beer I lit the fire. I got back into it and after the man cave warmed up to about 27 deg, the buffing took 1/3rd the time, so as a result I've discovered that the ambient temperature does play a role as well.

Sitting back having a quiet beer in the shed one cold grey Canberra afternoon, listening to the crackle of the fire, gazing out at the rain something attracts my eye, hmmmm a dull and scratched Adventure Island bow. So a quick look around the shed for some clean polishing cloths and some boat cleaner. With a great amount of elbow wax, yeah it looks ok, but it could be better.

So out comes Mr Drill, and after a quick trip to Auto Pro, a lambs wool buffing pad, 5 minutes later an Adventure Island bow shiner than it was when it was brand new. I couldn't believe the lustre the lambs wool buffer put on the polyethylene, beaut job, some of the lighter scratches did come out too.

Very pleased with the result, so today, ANZAC Day, I'm doing a full strip of Crazy Horse and buff the rest of him.
